Our Outpost camps

For the avid sports fishermen who like to get away from highway accessible waters and over-crowded lakes, Patricia Fly-in and Northumbrian Resort have set-up a series of outpost camps scattered over distances of 40 to 65 miles north of our base at Northumbrian Resort, Sioux Lookout, Ontario, Canada.

Wilderness Outpost Getaways

Upon arrival, we accommodate guests with licenses, bait, satellite phones, marked maps, and anything else you may require. Guests are flown as soon as the sun rises to their destination where nature has not changed in hundreds of years. The cabins are supplied with generators, propane lights for desired peace and quiet, BBQs, and fire wood. Boats and motors are ready to go. Guests must provide all personal gear and food. Fishermen will notice a large difference in fishing quality as there is significantly less pressure than closer to town.

American Plan Packages

We have an American plan at our outpost, Arc Lake, which is available upon request. All outposts have fire pits as well as wood and BBQ's on site. Our outposts all have walleye and northern pike, except Carling which has lake trout as well.

Fly-in With The Family!

Now you can take your family along too! There have been considerable improvements in the comforts of outpost camps in the last several years. Patricia Fly-in outposts now have modernized cabins. Some have sandy beaches that encourage family vacations. Contact us with your personal requirements and we will advise you as to which outpost camp would suit your family vacation needs.
